Yesterday at approxiamately 1030 a.m., the VeloTramp was born. A lot of people give me weird looks and raised eyebrows when they ask about the word VeloTramp. So, I want to make sure that at least you, my little group of followers, know what it means. Well, the word velo means bicycle and tramp means to wander from place to place. Thus, VeloTramp means bicycle wanderer. A title that well suits my personality.
More than that VeloTramp represents the unconquerable power of dreams and hope. I believe that when these things exist, there is nothing that we or anyone else can do to fully take them fully away. Something of it will always remain with us and if we nurture that remnant it can be restored. That’s kind of what happened with me. When I was in high school all I wanted to do was ride bike and write. And even though my life has taken me in many different directions some shred of the dream of riding and writing have always stayed with me, recently bursting out of the dark cell in which they had been locked.
So that is VeloTramp. I want to thank all of you for supporting me in this resurrection of my dream. I hope you enjoy riding with me.
